Human Capital Policy:Our employees are the most valuable assets of the company
Selection Criteria: Place emphasis on both talent and integrity while integrity being the foremost.
We rely primarily on our own full-time employees to conduct substantially all of our construction works in order to maintain consistent quality in our production process and take subcontractors as complementary input on the other hand.
We recognize that our employees are an invaluable resource, and the competency and dedication of our employees have been instrumental to our success. To help ensure that our employees are equipped with the necessary skills and expertise, we provide various internal and external training programs for both new and existing employees. Such training programs involve both classroom lessons and on-the-job trainings, ranging from further educational studies to basic production process and skills training to professional development courses for our management personnel.
We established our own training centre since July 2007 to secure a steady supply of competent and skilled production workers. The training centre provides various courses for a period of six months on the basic knowledge and skills in different shipbuilding construction process. Students who have passed all the exams will secure an offer of employment from us. Currently, the training centre has approximately 15 teachers responsible for teaching and training approximately 800 students. We plan to expand the training centre to accommodate 1,500 students in 2008.
